This group exists for those wanting to learn about the inexpensive, luxury retirement available in the states of Sinaloa and Sonora, Mexico, where I am licensed. Specifically in a beach community both with high American presence, and without. From San Luis with almost no Americans, 100s of miles north on the Sea of Cortez coast, and especially in Puerto Penasco, or Rocky Point as we call it, with an American communty of 5000. Property is less expensive than in the US but property values are increasing at from 15% to 25% almost every quarter. This is due to the recent inauguration of the new International Airport and the opening of the newly paved Coastal Highway to California (not yet complete, 40 Kilometers to go). The Governors of Ca, AZ, NV, NM, and TX, and 8 Mexican Governors along with the President of Mexico, El Presidente Calderon, met at the airport landing some fairly large planes, a 767, and met for the usual media blitz. But as this city becomes listed with various airlines and becomes a direct destination, as it is scheduled to do from Ca, Az, Tx and Nm, then more buyers will able to access the city, and when direct flights from foriegn countries, Italy, France, Britain, Germany, and many others are listed with the airlines as they are now for Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan and Cabo San Lucas, prices will climb to those of these same cities, perhaps 1000% of what they are now. There is a new American hospital being built that will accept American insurance plans and be staffed with American doctors and the latest equipment, over 10 Jack Nicklaus Signature golf courses, you can drive a golf cart on the streets, and EVERYTHING is cheap. Avocados run about 5 for 49 cents, tomatos run about $1 for a bag of 15 Roma's, and fresh fish is never over $5 to $8 a pound. The American community is approximately 5000 strong with all sorts of groups and organizations formed for networking and meeting one another and if you follow the articles I post to this group you'll learn how you can retire here on a low budget, or a high budget, earn money continually, and even produce an income for yourself, all fairly easily. Certain professions could move here now and make far more than they do in the states. Real Estate Sales agents, semi truck drivers, masons, brick layers, custom home contractors, cable installers, boutique owners, restaurant owners, a dry cleaner (really!), car washes, and even franchisers for Circle-K or Burger King.
